Look at this little baby boy! He was all smiles for me and I loved every second of our short session together. He was such a good boy that it went really fast and we got some great shots!
Lori, I can’t believe your little man is already 6 months old. I wish time would just slow down a little bit but I have to admit I am SO looking forward to my next session with him already!

__Little.Tiny.Peanut. Oh my goodness little Miss Francis was so darn sweet. I SO wanted to take her home with me. Her little tiny hands and feet were so adorable and I seriously just wanted to eat them up in a pita pocket.
I was VERY lucky to have a super awesome helper yesterday too. Ashley Moulton is just starting out in her photography career and she wanted to come by and chat and just kind of see how a newborn session at Laurie K. Photography goes. She was a big help to me and I am starting to think I need to have people come by more often. An extra set of hands in a newborn session is SO very valuable and I really loved hanging out with her too. You can check out her business Facebook page here.
Kathie, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my time with you yesterday. I have never worked with a mom who was so laid back and you were so easy to work with and talk to. It was such a pleasure getting to know you and getting my baby fix with sweet, adorable, Francis.

OMGSH Laurie, these are FANTASTIC!!!! Absolutely stunningly beautiful in every single way!! The first 2 are to die for (she looks like a little porcelin doll, PERFECT in every way) and the last two on that blue fabric………..Omgsh, ARE YOU KIDDING me?!?!!! Those are STUNNING, absolutely gorgeous!!! Where in the world did you find that blue??? I have got to get my hands on that and just hope mine will look even 1/2 as great as yours do. Very classy and elegant. WOW!!! I’m just blown away once again!!

__Less than 6 months ago I had the extreme pleasure of taking Miss Kaylee’s (the peanut on the left) newborn pictures. The time has flown by and here she is at 6 months along with her best buddy, Ava. Kaylee and Ava are less than two weeks apart in age and their beautiful mamas are best friends. How fun is that! These two gorgeous little sweethearts will grow up together and I bet they will feel like sisters in addition to being the best of friends.
I LOVE this age. I get to make all of my CRAZY noises and these cute babies just smile and laugh. Kaylee wasn’t as enthused with me as Ava but she still did so great and I am thrilled with the images I was able to capture.
Stacie, I am SO happy that I met you and that I am the one that gets to photograph Kaylee as she grows in her first year. And I want to THANK YOU for bringing Nichole and Ava in today. I can see why you and Nichole are best friends. You both are so sweet and kind. Ava just melted my heart with her big smile and her sweet personality. And Miss Kaylee has the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes. Oh my goodness, both of these girls are beautiful, inside and out!

__I am a member of Chic Critique. It is a GREAT place to learn and grow in my photography career. Every month they have a contest for the cover of the Chic Critique Magazine so I thought “what the heck”. They are looking for more high fashion type of stuff either outdoor or in the studio so I decided to enter an image I took of my best friend awhile back. I have always LOVED this image and though this type of photography is VERY different for me, I absolutely LOVE it and want to do more of this type of stuff in the future!
If you are a photographer I highly recommend Chic Critique. Not only is a great place to learn with monthly celebrity photographer mini workshops but they have so much more too including a great forum!
