soooooooooo cute!!!!

It has been WAY too long since I have posted anything on my website.  I have been very neglectful and I need to post more! I think like a lot of other people I have found that Facebook reaches more people but that is not a reason to leave my poor website behind.

So I am actually glad that this GORGEOUS mama isn’t on Facebook.  It gives me an opportunity to post here.

I totally fell in love with this mom and her adorable kids yesterday.  This is the kind of mom who is super excited about pictures.  She values them and they are a huge priority to her.  And her kids, well just look at them!  Mr. Jake melted my heart because he wanted to stay after their session was done and he asked if he could come back today.  When the kids I photograph have fun with me I know I have done my job well.  And little Miss Morgan was on the move so I had to snap fast but the results are pretty fabulous if I do say so myself.

Rachel, thank you so much for bringing your family into the studio yesterday.  It was a real pleasure meeting you all and I can’t wait to bring your vision of Morgan’s First Birthday Session to life!  We will have so much fun!

I hope you love your images and please tell Jake I miss him already! :)

Happy, Happy, Boy!

I have been ignoring my website for the past couple of months so I thought I would add this cutie pie’s pictures to it in hopes his adorable face can brighten your day just the way he brightened mine.

This little sweetheart walked in the door and didn’t even need one bit of time warming up to me.  Landyn wasn’t so sure about his cake but he did eat some of it and didn’t complain one bit about getting all messy.

Landyn was one of the most cooperative one year old’s I have had in a very long time and even more than that he was just a joy to photograph and spend time with.

Carrie, thank you so much for bringing your precious boy into the studio today.  I had so much fun with you both and I hope you love these images of him as much as I do.

There is always room for a “Cuddle”. :)

If you want a photographer who is going to be very strict about holding a position or keeping your child’s security items out of the pictures I am NOT your photographer.  This is the way I see it.  So your adorable 2 year old daughter has a blanket that she calls “Cuddle” and she has it with her at all times.  She has no interest in being photographed without it so guess what?  Let’s photograph her WITH IT!  This is WHO SHE IS at this very moment in time and having her sweet blanket in these images makes the images even more special in my eyes.

I just met this family yesterday but from our brief time together I could tell that they are so loving and care about each other so much.  I really enjoyed watching them interact and I LOVED getting the chance to be around these two sweet, wonderful, kids.  Mr. Aeden is so handsome and he was my little helper yesterday in the studio.  I just loved his big smiles and silly giggles.  And oh my goodness, Miss Brenna melted my heart.  Seeing how calm she got when she had her bottle and blanket made me think back to when my Gracie was that age and how her paci was her security blanket.  Brenna’s sweet face and the way she said my name just made me want to hug her over and over and over again.

Betheen and Scott thank you so much for driving all the way to my studio for your family pictures.  I know you wanted to do them outside but the weather just didn’t cooperate.  I hope you will like these studio images enough to hold you over until we can do some outdoor ones in the future.  You have a beautiful family and I am honored you chose me to capture these memories for you.

Josie…

What a little peach sweet little Josie was to work with.  She slept for the whole session and let me get some really precious pictures of her.  I absolutely loved her cheeks and again wanted to take her home with me.

Kati, your family picture is probably my favorite newborn family picture ever.  I love it so much and couldn’t decide if I like it better in color or black and white so I decided to include both in the slideshow.

Thank you so much for bringing her to me for her important first pictures.  I hope you will come back again and again so I can see your beautiful baby girl grow up.

Ruby…

How cute is the name, Ruby?  I LOVE IT!  This little precious angel is just as cute as her sweet big brother, Miles.  I have had the extreme honor of photographing Mr. Miles since he was a newborn himself.  Now he has a little playmate to love and protect for the rest of his life.

Jackie and Travis, thank you so much for bringing Ruby to me for her important first pictures!  Being a mom of a son first and then a daughter I can tell you that you are going to love having a little girl and you will also love having a big brother to watch over her throughout her life.  You are blessed twice over and I am just grateful that I get to watch your sweet blessings grow up!
