magnificent madisson!
I know that everyone loves a chubby baby but I think I do even more than most people because both of my kids were so skinny when they were babies. I just LOVE chubby baby legs and often wonder why chubby legs aren’t still cute at my age.
Madisson was a DREAM! Out of all the 1 year olds I have ever photographed she definitely got the messiest and I just loved how into that cake she was! She barely looked up at all the whole time and then she started smearing it around like finger paint. She was SO awesome!
Heather and Guy, thank you for sharing your little pumpkin with me today, I truly enjoyed every minute with her. And Guy, it was really nice seeing you after all of these years. St. Hyacinth seems like a life time ago. I guess it was because we are really old. Ha Ha

beautiful senior…
It was an absolute honor for me to photograph this lovely young lady today. I grew up with her mom and I can hardly believe that little Maggie is already going to be a Senior in high school!
She is clearly beautiful on the outside but she is equally beautiful on the inside just like her gorgeous mom!

It was time for me to take some new pictures of my children since my son is now 8 and Grace seems to be growing so fast! They are truly the lights of my life and I am so blessed to have them as my own.
Jacob is very sensitive, caring, cautious, and SO funny! Grace is sweet, carefree, loving, and SO funny! They both have such unique traits and I sometimes look at them, eyes filled with tears, thinking whatever did I do to deserve these two beautiful human beings!
I know everyone thinks their children are beautiful and all children are but just look at these two faces! I look at these images and my heart sings!

another fabulous family!
Yesterday I got the chance to spend some time with one of my closest friend’s extended family. They are all so warm and kind and it was a pleasure photographing them. They all showed up in brown which I absolutely loved and you can see for yourself what a beautiful family they are.
The kids were so cooperative and little Miss McKenzie stole my heart. Whenever she realized her mom wasn’t holding her, her lip would pucker and she had the saddest little face I have ever seen. And then she would be all smiles and so sweet.
Colleen, thank you for giving me the chance to spend some time with your wonderful family. You are one of the kindest people I have ever known and I can see that your entire family is just like you too!

birthday boy!
Sweet, sweet, Cass. I met this little cutie about 3 months ago when I had the pleasure of taking his 9 month pictures. It seems like I just blinked and now he is turning 1! He is the happiest little guy ever! He never fussed a single second after the session when I was wiping him down with washcloths trying to get the frosting off of him. He is like a bright light that just lights up the world and I am SO happy I got the chance to photograph him again today.
Meaghan, thanks so much for bringing Cass in today and tell Cooper it was so nice meeting him too! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Oh this sweet little baby girl with her huge dark brown eyes just melted my heart! She is 3 months old and I had so much fun hanging out with her and her mom and dad last night.
3 month olds can be hard to photograph because the only position they are usually comfortable in is lying on their back which makes it hard to get variety from a photo session but this little cutie had so many adorable expressions that variety for her mom and dad won’t be a problem at all. In fact I am wondering how they will ever choose from all the great shots I got.
Stephanie, thank you so much for bringing your darling little angel in for pictures. I am SO happy you purchased my baby plan and I get the chance to watch her grow!!

lovely family…
One of my closest friend’s husband contacted me about taking some pictures of his whole family. Getting to know the extended families of my friends is another HUGE bonus of my job.
I met this wonderful family in Frankenmuth and I had so much fun with this gaggle of girls! You just know that the men in this family have to be the best guys in the world to be surrounded by all of these women! And they are the best and so are all the females in the family too!
Thank you for allowing me to spend some time with your family yesterday and I hope you all enjoy these images!

dow gardens fun!!!
I had three fun sessions at Dow Gardens on Saturday and wanted to post some of my favorite images from the day.
I took 1000 pictures. SERIOUSLY! I have been asked why in the world I take so many pictures and I think it’s better to show you rather than tell you why. Just look at the picture of the two boys walking had and hand. I was following behind them to get a shot of them from behind walking together. If I had stopped shooting after I got one or two I would have pulled my camera down and would not been able to get it back up fast enough to capture him turning around and smiling at me.
So yes, I get 100’s of duplicates because I click my shutter so much but in the midst of those duplicates usually is a gem that I am so thrilled to have gotten!
