I am thinking of revamping my pricing to make is SUPER simple for everyone. I would love feedback from previous clients or anyone who happens to read this post.
Here is what I would like to know. Would this new digital pricing appeal to you or would you rather pay a session fee separately and order prints directly from me and pay my print pricing?
Something to keep in mind is that the place I suggest to have my clients print at is www.mpix.com and Mpix charges $.29 for a 4X5, $.99 for a 5X7, and $1.99 for an 8X10.
So PLEASE chime in and let me know what you think of this digital pricing. I am going to post it on Facebook too so you can respond here on my blog or on my Facebook page as well.
THANK YOU so much for taking the time to respond.

I am getting a really early start on my Christmas Mini Sessions this year so anyone who signs up has plenty of time to do what they want with their images for Christmas gifts. Everyone will have their disk of images and holiday cards by November 1st.
The FIRST FIVE PEOPLE who sign up and pay the fee in full will receive a FREE 5X7 of EVERY IMAGE in their gallery!!!! Here are the details…

I LOVE photographing babies, children, and families but I also LOVE getting a little creative and breaking out of the norm. My best friend Kristina is visiting from Las Vegas and I was able to persuade her to let me take some pictures of her. We had fun getting her hair and make up done and then headed to the studio for a magazine type photo session.
My very good friend Kari of Photography by Kari K. (you can check her work out on Facebook) came too so we could put our heads together for some unique lighting set ups. We had so much fun laughing and playing. I am thrilled with the results. As you can tell Kristina is GORGEOUS and I am so happy I got this chance to photograph her!
I think all woman should get their hair and make up done and have their picture taken. We all deserve to feel beautiful so ladies if you would like a photo session give me a call. It is SO much fun!!!

Groups are difficult to photograph because it’s very hard to get everyone looking and smiling at the camera at once. But when you hire me as your photographer you get 100% dedication to making sure that your images are the best they can possibly be. That means if I have to spend an hour on one image cloning faces from all different pictures to make the best possible group shot, I will do it!
And when I get to photograph a lovely family like this one it makes the hard work all the more worthwhile. I enjoyed working with this family so much. I love it when families know how to dress for photographs. I showed up and took one look around and thought to myself, “YES”! They are not only lovely on the outside but SO very nice and funny too! The kids were GREAT and I just enjoyed my time with them from start to finish.
Stacie, thank you so much for allowing me to come and photograph your family. I hope you all enjoy the sneak peek!

Many of you will recognize the middle picture because it’s one of my all time favorites and I have shared it with just about everyone! That was this sweet girl’s newborn picture and just look at her now!!! Little Miss Ella just turned 1 and I had SO much fun with her and her mom today. She didn’t mind the clothing changes one bit and was more than happy to show me her pretty smile!
I have been photographing this wonderful family since their oldest son was 6 weeks old and then they added another little sweet boy and now their family is complete with a beautiful little girl!
Jill and Scott I hope you enjoy this sneak peek and please tell Ben and Nathan I said hello and that I missed them today. I look forward to the next time I get the chance to take their pictures again too!
Here she is!!!!!

If after looking at these images you think that this little girl looks sweet, kind, beautiful, and smart, you would be RIGHT! I had so much fun yesterday photographing this little sweetheart. I went to high school with her mom, Brenda, and it was so much fun hanging out with them yesterday and catching up after all this time.
Brenda, thank you SO much for bringing Saige in yesterday. These images make me smile and I hope they make you smile too!

How time flies!!! It seems like just yesterday that I took this beautiful boy’s newborn pictures and here it is a WHOLE YEAR later!!!
I just LOVE this family! Not only are they super gorgeous but their generous hearts and magnificent spirits just make them all an absolute joy to be around! I have Gabriel’s sister’s picture in my storefront window. She is just as gorgeous as this little sweetheart and I absolutely LOVE photographing both of them.
Gabriel was an absolute angel today and I am thrilled with how many great shots I got of this sweet boy.
Yolanda, THANK YOU so much for hanging out with me today and allowing me to photograph your wonderful son! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Check out these little sweethearts! All three are gorgeous and I had so much fun photographing them yesterday. It can be tricky to get a good picture of 3 siblings together but I ended up with EIGHT sibling shots that I love! Yippee!!!
Jill, thanks for bringing the girls in for pictures. I know that getting pictures taken can be a big stressful event but I hope I was able to make it much less stressful and more fun and please know I got SO MANY great shots of all 3 of them!!!
Enjoy your sneak peek!

Oh my goodness, 15 days old and already chubalicious and just SO VERY sweet!!!
I am HORRIBLE at giving gifts because I get SO excited I can never wait to give a gift so I end up giving it way before I am suppose to. I am EXACTLY the same way with the images I take. I know I should probably SAVE my favorites for the client gallery but I CANNOT help myself. I get SO excited I have to post them right away!!!
Can you really blame me though with this angel girl? I wanted to swaddle her up and take her home with me!
Kim, it was SO MUCH FUN hanging out with you last night! Oh the laughs we had over the bodily functions of a newborn. HA HA
Enjoy your sneak peek and THANK YOU so much for letting me spend time with your beautiful daughter!!!

I decided to post only one picture in this sneak peek because quite frankly this image is so spectacular it deserves to stand alone. This handsome boy is another classmate of my son’s and I took his First Communion pictures this past weekend. I was SO thrilled when I got this shot because it’s hard for 7 year olds not to smile that “cheesy” smile but I just talked to him about various things trying to get natural expressions to come out.
When I am talking to a child waiting for those “perfect” moments I always have my camera ready. I have my finger on the trigger so to speak and peek out from behind my camera to chat and if I sense it coming I move back and in that split second “CLICK”, I GOT IT!
This was one of those “perfect” moments and I couldn’t wait to share it here!!!

I know you get sick of me saying this but I can’t help it, I LOVE MY JOB!!!! This little sweetheart made my whole day today!!! Being in a strange place with a strange lady (and I am strange, HA HA) with bright lights flashing would scare any child, right? Not Miss Lauren!!!! She warmed up to me so quickly and after the first smile it was smooth sailing and a sheer delight from beginning to end!
We had so much fun and laughed SO HARD watching her devouring the cake!!!
Michelle it was such an honor to be able to photograph your beautiful daughter today! Enjoy your sneak peek and there will be many more to come!!!

I just LOVE photographing little girls in their First Communion dresses! They look like little angels and they are always so excited to be dressed up in their gorgeous dresses and veils!
Today was extra special because I got the chance to photograph one of my son Jacob’s classmates and also Jacob’s teacher’s daughter! Both girls are gorgeous as you can see and I had so much fun with them today!
Enjoy your sneak peek Lynette and Kristi and enjoy this special time with your girls!

So 2 year olds are tough! Ha Ha I tried everything but this little cutie pie was not having any of it. He did not want his picture taken and that was that. I told his mom to come back in a month or 2 and I would have my secret weapon, MY SON! My son is GREAT at helping the little ones laugh and have fun so I am hoping he will be able to do that with this little man. Also, even one or two months can make a BIG difference with this age. I didn’t take my OWN daughter’s 2 year pictures until she was 2 years 7 months old because she wasn’t having any of it either at age 2. :)
LOOK at his sweet little sister! She is a doll!!! Every time I work with these sweet little babies, I WANT ANOTHER ONE!!!
Kristin, it was SO NICE hanging out with you today and getting to know you and your family. Don’t worry one bit, when you come back my mission is to get Brady to smile at me and when sweet little Molly is sitting up we will be able to do all kinds of fun stuff with her too!

Every week at I Heart Faces they have “Fix It Fridays” and this week’s submission is from Debbie from 50 cent of your Love. Her daughter is just GORGEOUS so I couldn’t help but play this week. Here is the before and after:

Since the image was so dark I started by lightening it up with LEVELS. I then used CURVES which is one of my favorite applications to use in Photoshop because it not only lightens but it gives a pop to the image too!
I sharpened her eyes and used the DODGE tool to bring out those catchlights. To me catchlights are one of the most important elements in an image. If they are not there or barely there the image just doesn’t have much life.
For her skin I used the HEALING BRUSH to zap away those blemishes and finished off with beautiful skin by applying an action I have that is wonderful. You can purchase the action from The Boudior Divas.
There you have it, it didn’t take long at all to really make this image shine! Thanks for stopping by today!

I just made this storyboard and I HAD to post it because it’s one of my favorite ones that I have ever made. The reason I LOVE storyboards so much is you get to see a range of emotions and expressions all in one place and this storyboard illustrates that so perfectly. The dad in this storyboard is a very old friend and he is pictured here with his son who clearly adores him. Gosh I LOVE my job!!! Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness these two little sweethearts are so cute!!!! I had so much fun photographing little Kenzy and Blake today. They are two happy children and that happiness shines through in these images!
The first image here is my favorite image of 2010 so far! Sometimes I get lucky and I got VERY lucky with this shot. Blake was getting restless and not wanting to sit next to Kenzy so he kind of flopped over into his sister’s lap and like a good big sister she cradled his head and looked down lovingly at him and “CLICK”, I GOT IT!
Trisha, thank you for coming in today and I hope you love your black and whites as much as I do!! Enjoy your sneak peek!!!

Isn’t it fun when family gets together! These kids were clearly SO happy to be all together and it was great to see! I had the pleasure of photographing little Jonah a few weeks ago and I was so happy to be able to photograph him again with all of his cousins! Thank you all for coming and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!!
